1977 Sportster Ironhead Bobber
Thank God There's Harleys . . .
Rick, also knows as "MCStanger" from New Port Richey, Florida, United States sent us these pictures of this very good looking 1977 Harley Sportster Ironhead Motorcycle which is nothing more than a stripped down stock bike without any major modifications or additions and thereby qualifies as a Straight Bobber.
Rick: "A little history, this bike sat in the garage, of a girl I know, for about 10 years, before I talked her into selling it to me. Typical 80's build. Too much chrome. Even the fuel tank was chrome.
My favorite items on this bike are a couple of custom made pieces, including the "Whoa" taillight and the Dental mirror. It is a continuing work in progress. I currently am in the process of putting a Cannondale disc brake, inside a drum brake housing, for the front wheel."

Before Rick Turned Her Into a Bobber...
This is how she looked like before Rick stripped her of most of the parts that don't contribute to speed and replaced all the chrome by a more appropriate Bobber colour...
Actually, this 1977 Ironhead Bobber is currently for sale.
