1974 Custom Sportster Ironhead
Kyle from Highwood, Illinois, United States made available these pictures of his slick 1974 Custom Sportster Ironhead Bobber which was built on the basis of a stretched and raked stock frame, with a 4 over hardtail weld on.
Kyle's Sportster Bobber has kick start and electric start, and Dana ignition. Those apes are 16 inch Nash Gimps with 2 inch risers and Exile internal throttle. Stock gas tank high mounted, fitted with a Nash Creepster Fill Cap, custom filler neck and petcock. crime scene brakelight. Bob's Cycle 21 inch front wheel, 16 inch at the rear. Skip stitch custom seat, real leather. Custom ribbed rear fender with strut. The metal flake gold paint and striping is by Kendall.
The 1974 Sportster stock frame was stretched and raked, and fitted with a 4 over hardtail weld on.
Note the Nash Creepster Fill Cap
with the typical Nash vent fittings for venting the tank into the frame.
