1970 Sportster Custom Chopper
Thank God There's Harleys . . .
"Malibu" Susie from Berlin, MD, United States made available these pictures of this 1970 Sportster Custom Chopper. The HD Sportster XLCH Ironhead engine has kick start only.
Susie: "The bike is titled as a 1970 Sportster. Rightside shift leftside brake. Has a raked and lowered frame."

Susie: "This is not a rigid frame, so you can actually ride it more than 4 miles at a time."
Chopper or Short Chop?
Not all Choppers have been created equal...
In our perception, it's not the length of a front fork that tells us whether a bike is a Chopper or not. To us it is the rake that counts.
To us, as soon as a stock motorcycle or a Bobber has her rake increased significantly, she has thereby become a Chopper. Whether she has a long front fork or not.
