1969 XLCH Hardtail Sportster Bobber
"Moose" from Lorain, Ohio, United States of America, is a regular contributor to this website. Back in April 2009 he sent us some pics of his gorgeous Harley Davidson 1969 XLCH Hardtail Sportster Bobber which has a 900cc Ironhead engine in a hardtail frame. During the 2009-2010 winter he changed the tank and the bike got a new paint job.
Thanks, Moose, for keeping us posted!

Moose: "Here are some pics of my 69 XLCH Bobber that I just remade. There are some pics of the same bike on this site from last year before I changed the tank and paint. Thanks, Moose."
Harley Ironhead Oldschool Bobber
Of course, being more than forty years old, a 1969 XLCH is already in an Oldschool class of its own.
Still, the new green paint job of this Custom Bobber has a true Oldschool quality going back further than forty years. Same goes for the overall lines of the bike which are set by the hardtail frame, springer fork and gas tank. Details like the design and position of the headlight and exhaust pipes amplify that retro-image, and so does the air cleaner.
Imagine a large leather tractor saddle and a hinged rear fender, squeeze your eyes a bit, and she will look just like a 40's Flathead...

Moose's 1969 XLCH Bobber - 2008 Version
Back in April 2008 Moose sent us the following message:
Moose: "Here are some pics of my 69 Ironhead. I got this basket case along with 3 very nice milk crates back in December 2008. I did all the work myself from the paint to leather on the seat. Thanks, Moose."
