1967 Sportster Bobber
Dave from Sarasota, Florida, United States sent us these photographs of his beautiful 1967 Sportster Bobber which has an 883cc Ironhead engine and a weld-on hardtail rear frame section.
Dave: "This is my ride. A 1967 Ironhead XLCH. My first build, I think it turned out pretty cool.
I welded on a hardtail to the stock frame, added a remote oil filter with braided lines, reinforced the rear fender from underneath for a clean look with no struts, and made a tiki head bracket to hold it on, and topped that off with an alligator seat. Fit on a K model primary cover, hand made custom brake rod, Moon plug wires and oil pressure gauge to finish the hot rod look.
Hope you like it, Thanks for your time, Dave"

1967 Harley XLCH Sportster Ironhead Engine
Dave: "The Ironhead engine is stock with stock Bendix carb and runs strong. Kick only, which is why I sadly have to sell her. Broke my leg and mangled my knee. Sure did love riding her until then!!"
The 1967 XLCH Ironhead engine has 883cc. Note the K model primary cover.
Have a Seat!
