1979 Ironhead Custom Chopper

Brian from Stoneham, MA, made available these pictures of his Harley Custom Chopper which has a 1979 1000cc Ironhead engine in a Paughco wishbone hardtail frame.
This Ironhead chopper was built in 2000 and has a rear drum brake and a front disc brake. The XL Ironhead motor has both a kick starter and an electric starter, and an S+S Carburator.

As part of the rebuild in 2000, the Ironhead cylinders and heads were sandblasted and
powdercoated black.
The cylinder jugs were bored +.050, and new oversize +.050 pistons with rings
were fitted.
